Gamma Health Project is a project initiated and implemented by the Association of the Institute for Research and Study of Quantum Consciousness in Iași, through which we offer psychological support to the population for adapting and managing problems and challenges, in the context of crisis situations that have arisen at the level of society. In 2020, the first year of the project, the activities were aimed at providing information and psychoeducational articles for managing emotional, mental, relational problems, etc. and free psychological support via videocall, to those who requested our help, in the context of the pandemic.

 

This year, Gamma Health Project returns with the aim of helping people who need psychological support in the context of the conflict situation in Ukraine , consisting of:

• Informational/psychoeducational materials on managing emotions that arise when the danger of war is present , how to talk about war with children and adolescents, the fear of death and the subject of death, how the mind and body process a major life-threatening event, the combination of thoughts, emotions and beliefs related to traumatic events, rapid trauma control techniques.

• Free psychological support (in Romanian and English) offered to the population, through telephone or video-call counseling sessions . This activity will be carried out by a team of volunteers (psychologists, psychotherapists, psychological counselors) during the 6 months of the project.

• Training a team of volunteers to provide counseling to those in need of support.
